The Twits by Roald Dahl, Directed by Sheelagh O'Kane

Directed by Sheelagh O'Kane Following on last year's highly successful production of The Witches, Youth Lyric is proud to present The Twits by Roald Dahl. This should prove to be a fun-filled evening of entertainment, music, dance and storytelling.

Youth Lyric Awards Night
The splendid facilities at St. Ita's Primary school provided the perfect venue for the first presentation of certificates for Youth Lyric students who successfully completed Trinity Guildhall examinations. Their guest of honour was East Belfast MP Naomi Long who regularly attends Youth Lyric productions in the Belfast Waterfront Hall. Mrs. Long told the packed auditorium "It is a credit to the imagination and foresight of tutor Judith Gallagher that the Youth Lyric Board of Trustees approved the introduction of these valuable qualifications, which at the higher grades actually add UCAS points to university applications which the students will make. Judith along with Natalie Gilbert and the teaching staff of Youth Lyric ably supported by Youth Lyric's administrator Mrs. Anne Carson prepared the students for the examinations which were graded by an examiner flown in from London."
